A 2 million question! How can you seek answers for your problems using RTI Act?
4 Aug, 2020Reaching the milestone of 2 million website visits has been an achievement for which we would like to thank the readers. It shows the demand for good reading material related to the right to information for which the website has been continuously thriving. The readers have made it the most commonly visisted RTI website over the past nine years. While we would continue to put in our efforts to bring out the latest for our readers, it would be prudent to point out an area of concern.
We have been receiving innumerable mails seeking help in personal matters. Some of the mails hardly makes any sense to us as the content is illegible or we would hardly understand the language used. (Our language proficiency is restricted to Hindi and English only). A few illustrative examples are given below hiding the names and e-mail ids of the authors. While we wish to help each and every one who comes to us with a request, it is not possible for us to reply to each mail individually. Our expertise lies in RTI matters and it impossible to respond to all mails, especially those which do not involve RTI or public good. We are an NGO with limited resources and have been working hard to bring the latest in the field of RTI to you. Our efforts are directed towards empowering everyone to find a solution to their problem using RTI. Please use the content provided free of cost on the website for finding an effective answer to the difficulty faced by you. We would be happy to share experience of those who have used RTI for resolution of the difficulty which can also guide readers.
Please use the information given on the website like “How to file RTI Application” and FAQs to help yourself. We wish the readers are able to get the best out of the website in their quest to find solutions to the difficulties.
We look forward to the suggestions from the readers. Hoping for the continued support of the readers to reach new milestones.
