CBSE to outsource RTI work
30 Nov, 2012The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to outsource some of the work related to providing information to applicants under the Right to Information (RTI) Act. The CBSE has decided to call for bids from competent agencies in terms of technical bid and commercial bid. The last date of technical bid is December 10 while that for the commercial bid is December 13, 2012. For the year 2013, CBSE wishes to use the services of for providing the copies of the answer-sheet for class X while for the year 2014, it wishes to use the services for the classes X and XII. The CBSE has asked for the certain experience and qualifications.
Are other public authorities going to follow the example set by CBSE? Certainly, RTI is aiding in employment generation in the country.
