One cannot knock the door of Consumer Forum in case of deficiency in RTI
Ref: Is a RTI applicant a ‘consumer’ too as per the Consumer Protection Act?
I am Nirmal Kumar advocate practicing at Chengalpattu District. I read your RTI and consumer case remedies from http://www.rtifoundationofindia.com.
While browsing other websites, everybody discusses in the forum that one cannot knock the door of Consumer Forum in case of deficiency in RTI.
I need a clarity from you. Whether one can approach consumer forum for additional remedy when there is deficiency of service like Second Appeal RTI application lost by Tamil Nadu Information Commission, no replied to RTI for 3 yrs etc.
Also kindly share latest RTI Consumer case judgements.
