RTI reveals 22 air accidents averted

The stress caused by the truncated global flight schedule and increase in the number of flights due to introduction of numerous low-cost airlines are said to be the causal factor behind such incidents. It has been pointed out by experts that India risks being downgraded on aviation safety by the United States Federal Aviation Administration and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
