Clarification sought from selected Information Commissioner of Goa
21 Jun, 2012The Goa Government has sought a clarification from P.R. Nadkarni, who was selected this month as the Information Commissioner at State Information Commission (SIC), after allegations that crucial information was withheld from his resume which was submitted during the selection process. Mr. Nadkarni was selected from the three candidates shortlisted out of a pool of 26 applicants for the post of Information Commissioner at the SIC at Goa and his name is yet to be approved by the Governor.
It has been alleged that in the bio-data, Mr. Nadnarkni had wrongly stated that he was a member on the local managing committee of S.S. Dempo College of Commerce and Economics from 1996 to date and that also are a member of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE).
