Comment: Respondent misled the Commissioner and Commissioner allowed himself to be misled. Commissioner does not seem to have read the petition. In any case, this is the order of the day with CIC. It is futile to go to CIC because they do not read the petition carefully and pass thoroughly absurd and illegal orders. There is no accountability for such orders because all ICs are retired government servants and they have nothing to lose by giving such orders.
