Appellant was short listed for the post of primary teacher & sought to know why her name was rejected – CIC: Intimate reason for not considering her for the post; explain whether delay in result was due to situation in J&K or owing to fault of respondent
5 Oct, 2015FACTS:
2. Appellant through his RTI application sought to know the reason for withholding of her result, information for EET after cut of date and copy of order, whether the diploma in EET for session 1200709 is allowed etc. Having received no reply, appellant filed first appeal and thereafter approached the Commission.
Proceedings Before the Commission:
3. The appellant wanted to know when she was short listed in the beginning, why her name was rejected from consideration of the post of 7/09 primary teacher. The appellant claimed that because of frivolous situation in Jammu & Kashmir she was issued certificate late, because of which her name was not included in the list by the respondent office. Her result in EET examination declared delay i.e., beyond the date prescribed by the respondent authority. She claimed that she should not have been rejected on that ground. The Commission directs the PIO of respondent authority to intimate reason for not considering her for the post of primary teacher. The Commission directs the respondent authority to explain her whether delay in result was not because of her fault, but it is because of situation in Jammu & Kashmir or it is because of fault of respondent authority, within 21 days from the date of receipt of this order. The appeal is disposed of.
