The appellant has sought following information pertaining to the Post Office “GPR Engineering College SO – 518 007”
a. No. of Registered/ Speed Post letter addressed to M Raffath Anjum, M Md Shafiulla, M Arjumand Banu or M A K Naveed, residents of the address at # 4-215, Shilpa Singapore Township, G P R Engineering College SO, Kurnool, which were ‘attempted for delivery’ during the Period from 01/06/14 to 15/03/15
b. Status of each of such Registered/ Speed Post letter is the following format:

The CPIO has not provided the desired information.

The following were present Appellant: Mr. T Mohammed Farooq through VC Respondent: Mr. C. Srinivas CPIO’s representative through VC
The applicant stated that 14 registered letters posted by him between 01/06/14 to 15/03/15 were returned undelivered by the postman with different reasons. He submitted that the addressees were very much present at the address but it appears that the postman connived with the addressees and returned his articles. The CPIO’s representative stated that if the applicant makes a complaint and furnishes copy of envelopes which were returned undelivered he will get the matter enquired into and provide a report to him.
Decision notice:
As stated by the CPIO’s representative he should get the matter enquired into and provide a copy of the report within 30 days from the date the applicant’s complaint is received along with copy of envelopes which were returned.
The appeal is disposed of accordingly.
