Information sought
Provide the duplicate copy of the passbook containing entries of his savings account.

The CPIO has not provided the desired information.

The following were present Appellant: Mr. Subhash Chand Saxena through VC Respondent: Mr. Rameshwar Dayal CPIO through VC M: 09412899144
The applicant stated that he had submitted his passbook for completion to City post office but the same was not returned to him. He further stated that the receipt given by the post office has been pilfered and the same is not available with him. The CPIO accepted that records of City post office are computerized and stated that he will direct the postmaster to go through the records and provide information to the applicant, if available.
Decision notice:
As stated by the CPIO he should direct postmaster City post office to go through the computerized records and provide information to the applicant, if found.
The order should be complied within 7 days from the date of receipt.
The appeal is disposed of accordingly.
