The complainant vide RTI application dated 13.10.2015 sought information on 8 points regarding JE (mechanical & Electrical) examination 2015, marks scored by him, copy of answer script of the topper in the examination and copy of question paper.
The PIO replied on 07.11.2015.
The complainant being dissatisfied filed complaint before this Commission on 07.01.2016. 2

The CPIO did not provide the desired information.

During the hearing the respondent PIO submitted that they had provided the requisite information vide their letter dated 07.11.2015 which is just and proper and the case should be dismissed. The complainant was not present to plead his case.
On perusal of the case record, it is seen that reply provided is just and proper but deficient. An Advisory is issued in this regard.
The then respondent CPIO is issued an advisory that full and final reply to an RTI application should be provided within the time period as stipulated under the RTI Act. Moreover reply to each of the points raised in the concerned RTI application should be comprehensive. In future in every case he should ensure that reply to an RTI application is provided within 30 days of receipt of the said RTI application.
With the above advisory, the appeal is disposed of.
Copies of the order be sent to both the parties free of cost.
