ORDER
The present appeal, filed by Shri Aseem Takyar against Office of Director General of Civil Aviation, was taken up for hearing on 21.11.2013 when the Respondents were present through Shri S.N. Dwivedi, Director, Shri Ved Prakash, Dy. Director and Shri Charan Dass, JDG. The Appellant was present in person.
2. The Appellant through his RTI application dated 12.08.2012 sought information against 11 points (A to K),
· including list of those multinational companies, corporate houses, individual persons and State Governments to whom Government of India has authorised/allowed to own/acquire private aircraft and private jet;
· list of those multinational companies, corporate houses, individual persons and State Governments to whom Government of India has authorised/allowed to own/acquire personal helicopters;
· what are the criteria to own/acquire private aircraft, jet and helicopter;
· provide copy of manuscript; provide list of those companies, private individual and State Governments, whose licences were renewed during last three years;
· provide complete list of those companies, private persons and State Governments who did not apply for renewal of licences during the last three years and so on.

The CPIO vide his letter dated 07.09.2012 furnished pointwise reply/information to the Appellant, dissatisfied with which the Appellant filed an appeal dated 25.10.2012 before the Appellate Authority. The Appellate Authority decided this appeal vide his order dated 15.11.2012 upholding the CPIO’s reply.
4. The Appellant then filed the present appeal before the Commission expressing his dissatisfaction with the reply/information given by the Respondents.
5. Heard submissions.

The Appellant’s case is that the Respondents had asked him to refer to the website of the public authority for obtaining the information sought by him, but he could not find the desired information on the website of the public authority. The Respondents, present during the hearing, while maintaining their stand that information is available on their website, agree to provide reasonable assistance to the Appellant. They suggest that the Appellant may visit their office where they can help him in finding out the desired information on the website of the public authority.
7. In view of the above, the CPIO is hereby directed to fix a mutually convenient date for the purpose and provide the desired information to the Appellant.
8. Appeal is disposed of with the above directions, which are to be complied with within 3 weeks of receipt of this order.
