2 Feb, 2014The reply to an application filed under the Right to Information (RTI) Act has brought to the light an alleged fraud case in which a builder accepted booking amounts worth crores of rupees from the flat seekers by producing fake and fabricated documents.
The accused, Abrar Shaikh, had floated a construction company under the name Riya Constructions and Developers and many people booked flats in his project in Nallasopara, Mumbai.
