Sarkar office now available on your smartphone
25 Oct, 2014A mobile app has been developed by a Moju Mohan, a B. Tech graduate currently employed at a private software company in Thrissur of Kerala, to enable making different government forms and applications available on the smartphone.
The Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala launched the mobile app Aptly named Sarkar Office (government office) recently. Mohan said that the public will get access to nearly 600 applications and forms to be submitted for availing various services offered by the government, local bodies and universities. He claimed that over 5,000 persons have downloaded the free app that is available for Android-based phones on Google Play Store. The app has been designed to all services offered by the government online besides sharing details related to various government departments including information on aspects related to Right to Information Act, details of the applications issued by universities and helpline numbers.
