Selection process of Allopathic Pharmacists at CGHS - interview stretched over eight months – indicates irregularities - CIC: marks awarded to all the candidates in the interview should be disclosed in larger public interest
18 Aug, 2013FACTS
1. Heard today dated 25.7.2013. Appellant present. CGHS is represented by Shri Jai Ram, A. O. and Shri Kusumakar Mishra, LDC.
2. Vide RTI application dated 7.12.2012, the appellant had sought information on 04 paras about the selection process of Allopathic Pharmacists. It is his allegation that the interview was stretched over eight months and lots of irregularities were committed by the Interview Board.
3. The very fact that the interview was conducted over as many as eight months casts doubts on the fairness of the selection process. Hence, in my opinion, it would be in the larger public interest to disclose marks awarded to all the candidates in the interview.
4. This information would be supplied to the appellant, free of cost, in 03 weeks time.
