Comment:
Any information in the interest of justice should be made available to the concerned Party. If that information is right, there is no harm. If the said information is wrongly declared out of fraudulent transaction, then it is to the exchequer's loss, and so there is loss to "larger Public Interest".
In cases, where sale transactions of immovable propertied are undervalued, if such information is sought, IT department should be forthcoming to aid the RTI applicants.... in the larger Public interest..... Black Money generation and tax evasion is a crime. Govt. departments themselves should not defeat the purpose of RTI Act.
